Organizing for Working-Class Power
Following the first Workers’ Voice International Meeting, held in Belgrade in January 2026, Radnički glas (Workers’ Voice) is organizing its second international meeting of trade unionists, workplace organizers, and labor activists.
Last year’s meeting brought together more than 70 participants from nine countries. It created a space for exchanging organizing experiences, discussing concrete workplace struggles, and confronting broader strategic questions facing the labor movement today.
In 2027, we want to build on that experience. Our aim is not simply to present different organizations and campaigns, but to create a working meeting centered on discussion, exchange, and collective reflection on organizing practice.
The meeting will combine workshops, thematic discussions, presentations of concrete organizing experiences, and spaces for informal exchange. We particularly want sessions to encourage active participation rather than follow a conventional conference format.

We invite organizations engaged in workplace organizing and building workers’ power, particularly trade unions and union initiatives rooted in the principles of class-struggle unionism. The meeting is also open to individual trade unionists and workplace activists, union organizers and staff, researchers working with trade unions, and others directly involved in labor organizing and workers’ struggles.

Radnički glas will provide the meeting space, food and refreshments during the program, and logistical support for participants. For participants interested in an affordable accommodation option, we will help coordinate shared budget accommodation in Belgrade, with costs covered by participants.
